چکیده
We study the interplay of strong correlations and coherent driving by considering strong-coupling Kondo model driven a time-periodic bias voltage. Combining recent nonequilibrium renormalization group method with Floquet theory, we find that dressing field side-replicas resonance emerge in conductance, which are not completely washed out decoherence induced driving. show to accurately capture one needs go beyond simple phenomenological pictures, underestimate decoherence, or adiabatic approximations, highlighting relevance non-Markovian memory effects. Within our differential conductance shows good quantitative agreement experimental data full crossover regime from weak analyze effects detail based on response short voltage pulses.

Renormalization Group Approaches to the Kondo Effect
Kodon effect was first introduced by Knondo in 1964 for explaining the extraordinary resistivity of metals with magnetic impurities: The resistivity ρ(T ) increases as temperature T goes to zero. This problem can be well understood by the method of the renormalization group. In this essay, the renormalization group is used to analyze the effective coupling of the impuity with the conduction ele...
متن کاملNumerical renormalization-group study of the Bose-Fermi Kondo model.
We extend the numerical renormalization-group method to Bose-Fermi Kondo models (BFKMs), describing a local moment coupled to a conduction band and a dissipative bosonic bath. We apply the method to the Ising-symmetry BFKM with a bosonic bath spectral function eta(omega) proportional omega(s), of interest in connection with heavy-fermion criticality. For 0 < s < 1, an interacting critical point...
متن کاملKondo physics and dissipation: A numerical renormalization-group approach to Bose-Fermi Kondo models
We extend the numerical renormalization-group method to treat Bose-Fermi Kondo models BFKMs describing a local moment coupled both to a conduction band and to a dissipative bosonic bath representing, e.g., lattice or spin collective excitations of the environment. We apply the method to the Ising-symmetry BFKM with a structureless band and a bath spectral function s. The method is valid for all...
متن کاملRenormalization in Periodically Driven Quantum Dots.
We report on strong renormalization encountered in periodically driven interacting quantum dots in the nonadiabatic regime. Correlations between lead and dot electrons enhance or suppress the amplitude of driving depending on the sign of the interaction. Employing a newly developed flexible renormalization-group-based approach for periodic driving to an interacting resonant level we show analyt...
متن کاملFloquet engineering with quasienergy bands of periodically driven optical lattices
A primer on the Floquet theory of periodically time-dependent quantum systems is provided, and it is shown how to apply this framework for computing the quasienergy band structure governing the dynamics of ultracold atoms in driven optical cosine lattices. Such systems are viewed here as spatially and temporally periodic structures living in an extended Hilbert space, giving rise to spatio-temp...
